Duolingo Case Study: Feature Idea for Boosting Retention

I crafted this feature idea for Duolingo based on the KPI: boosting D10 retention for intermediate language learners. I chose this KPI because Duolingo is renown as a casual language learning tool for beginners, so I'm curious how they could attract long-term learners at intermediate and advanced learning levels.

I started by conducting user research by digging into reviews in key markets where English is taught. Then, I boiled down the insights into key pain points, and brainstormed possible solutions.

This project demonstrates my ability to understand user needs and develop innovative solutions that directly impact engagement and learning outcomes, while staying true to the quirky, human brand Duolingo embodies.
