In 2022, Drops became the first language app to have vocabulary lessons specifically for and about LGBTQ+ people and their experiences. I conceptualized and lead this project with the support of my fantastic team and in collaboration with our parent company, Kahoot!. I was proud to work with a team that put our values and actions at the forefront.
🫱🏻🫲🏽 Conceptualized and lead a cross-functional team with stakeholders across the business, product, marketing, learning and design.
📝 Built and researched the vocabulary lessons focused on LGBTQIA+ experiences, resulting in the topics on queer culture, sexuality, gender identity, and transitioning.
🏳️🌈 Collaborated with translators to navigate cultural appropriateness and ensure high quality content.
🖇️ Wrote and proofed promotional material, including blog posts, our online glossary, and internal guidelines.
