Hi there, I'm Chelsea.
I'm a publishing professional, writer, and creator that always has two books on me at all times. In October 2018, I started a blog--Booked Club—which combines my passions for travel and literature. I'm also a freelance copy-editor, project manager, photographer, and language trainer.
Recently, I completed my M.A. in English Literature and Linguistics at Universität Heidelberg. My thesis was titled: "The Voices Within: The Composite Works of Kendrick Lamar" and my research focus is on gender studies and African American literature.
In 2014, I graduated from Emerson College with a B.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing and a minor in Journalism. During that time I held internships at Appalachian Mountain Club Books, Perseus Books Group, and Ploughshares Literary Journal. I also hold a certificate in copyright law from Harvard Law School's CopyrightX program.
