Hi there, I'm Chelsea.
I'm an editor, writer, and creator who always has two books on me at all times. Currently, I'm a project manager for National Geographic Learning ELT and a PhD student (Universität Bonn). Over the last 7+ years, I've also been a freelance editor, photographer, and language trainer..
In 2014, I graduated from Emerson College with a B.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing and a minor in Journalism. During that time I held internships at Appalachian Mountain Club Books, Perseus Books Group, and Ploughshares Literary Journal. I also hold a certificate in copyright law from Harvard Law School's CopyrightX program. In 2018, I completed my M.A. in English Literature and Linguistics at Universität Heidelberg. My thesis was titled: "The Voices Within: The Composite Works of Kendrick Lamar" and my research focus is on gender studies and African American literature. I also started a blog--Booked Club—which combines my passions for travel and literature (which is on pause, #stayathome). For more about me, take a look at my CV! |
